Naaleh Honors Society Visits the Met

Members of Aliyot, Naaleh’s honors society, sojourned through the snow on Sunday morning for a culture trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Guided by Elana Kook, the students explored the new Women Dressing Women exhibit, which showcased the evolution of women’s fashion and its significance throughout the ages. After immersing themselves in the world of fashion, the students ventured into the vibrant realm of Fauvism at the Vertigo of Color exhibit, where they analyzed Henri Matisse’s bold use of color and form, gaining a deeper appreciation for the revolutionary art movement. Following their trip to the Met, the students were treated to some warm hot chocolate at Patis Bakery. They can’t wait for the next culture trip after winter break, demonstrating Naaleh’s dedication to nurturing a learning environment that inspires exploration and the pursuit of knowledge in all its forms.
