Naaleh Students Enjoy Uplifting Shabbaton

This past weekend, Naaleh students gathered for NaalehTON 2024, a shabbaton centered around the theme of “Ha’aretz Hatova” discussing the power of perspective in all areas of life, including how to connect to Eretz Yisrael. The program offered a meaningful mix of inspiration, learning and fun. The weekend began with an inspiring talk from Mrs. Chana Juravel on positivity and the teenage perspective, followed by an enjoyable ice skating trip before traveling to the Sleepy Hollow Hotel.

Friday night, after an uplifting Kabbalas Shabbos and delicious meal, the girls explored the weekend’s theme through faculty panels where different perspectives on important issues facing the Jewish people were presented and debated. The evening culminated with individual grade onegs.

On Shabbos day, the students discovered the dualities of the shivas haminim and attended faculty-led workshops on related topics of their choice. A delicious Shabbat seuda was followed by a creative G.O. skit, lots of singing and ruach, and optional programming throughout the afternoon. Everyone enjoyed a delicious seuda shlishit followed by discussions on how to approach the situation in Eretz Yisrael from different perspectives and a beautiful kumzitz. After Havdala, the evening concluded with an exciting grade-vs-grade competition and a lively chagiga.

The program wrapped up on Sunday morning, leaving everyone feeling exhausted, fulfilled and with new perspective.
