Along with the teachings of the human body systems, Naaleh’s 11th grade anatomy and physiology students have the immersive opportunity to observe live surgeries and get inspired by professionals in the fields of medicine. The first students to partake in this experience were Talia Popowitz and Racheli Siklos who watched two surgeries performed by Dr. Daniel Popowitz at the Bergenfield Surgical Center. The girls came back awed and inspired by the complexity of the human body and related their experience to their peers. This unique experience reflects Naaleh’s dedication to providing immersive learning opportunities that shape not just academic understanding but also the value of fostering curiosity and passion for the miraculous intricacies of Hashem’s creations.
