The Naaleh sophomores had the opportunity to join 900 middle and high school students from all over New Jersey to participate in a virtual summit hosted and run by Teach NJ. The students met with Assemblywoman Lisa Swain, who lives in Fair Lawn, and they advocated for an increase in state funding for New Jersey schools’ security and transportation, as well as for continued support of STEM programs. Thank you to Francine Mermelstein and Teach NJ for organizing this impactful and important virtual mission.
