Sharing a beit midrash with Yeshiva University enables MTA to provide talmidim with incredible opportunities to learn with roshei yeshiva. Talmidim learn weekly with Rav Hershel Schachter, Rav Mayer Twerski, Rav Moshe Weinberger, Rav Yaakov Neuberger, Rav Mordechai Willig and Rav Yitzchak Cohen. This year, MTA developed new learning initiatives, including a weekly halacha b’iyun chaburah for sophomores with Rav Zvi Sobolofsky and a weekly chaburah for juniors with Rav Moshe Tzvi Weinberg. “These chaburahs, combined with our new chavrusa program where talmidim learn with YU students on a weekly basis, creates a powerful limud haTorah experience for our talmidim,” said Head of School Rabbi Joshua Kahn. “At MTA, we offer the warmth of a yeshiva high school along with all of the advantages of being located on a college campus.”
