(Courtesy of NJJBA) In an exceptional display of compassion and dedication, the New Jersey Jewish Business Alliance (NJJBA) has successfully coordinated the donation of a cutting-edge modern medical mobile hospital from a generous member to Sheba Medical Center in Israel.
Driven by its commitment to fostering an exceptional network of opportunities for businesses in New Jersey, NJJBA took the lead in orchestrating the logistics, communication and successful deployment of this invaluable medical asset. In the backdrop of hearts torn with empathy and the feeling of helplessness while awaiting intervention from above, NJJBA, amid its endeavors, extended its humble contribution to brethren in Israel.
“The core of our alliance lies in cultivating a robust network for business prosperity,” stated Nathan Herzog, board member of the NJJBA. “This initiative reflects our commitment to fostering business growth while simultaneously addressing critical humanitarian needs.”
The mobile hospital, equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment no longer needed locally, has emerged as an invaluable resource in addressing acute healthcare needs in conflict affected areas. It has significantly bolstered Israel’s healthcare infrastructure, providing immediate, on-site and crucial medical care to those in dire circumstances.
This impactful gesture transcends the mere provision of medical aid; it serves as a beacon of support, radiating warmth and fostering resilience within the New Jersey community as well as the Israeli healthcare system.
“We take immense pride in spearheading this heartfelt initiative,” added David Rosenberg, executive director of the NJJBA. “The profound impact it will have on the healthcare landscape in Israel and around the globe, being used as Sheba international’s renowned field hospital, reaffirms our belief in the transformative power of collaborative efforts to effect meaningful change.”
“All of us associated with Sheba Medical Center are deeply grateful to the donors and the New Jersey Jewish Business Alliance. The donation of this incredible mobile hospital system will strengthen Sheba’s ability to put advanced medical treatment facilities anywhere in Israel on short notice, as well as improve their humanitarian outreach work in the Middle East and Africa,” said Brian Abrahams, CEO at American Friends of Sheba Medical Center.
The New Jersey Jewish Business Alliance extended heartfelt gratitude to all involved parties, acknowledging their unwavering support and dedication in making this critical donation possible.
