Noam 8B Basketball Picks Up Where It Left Off

This past Tuesday night, the Noam 8B Knights headed to Englewood to start their season against the Moriah 8B Mighty Ducks. With Yeshivat Noam coming off their seventh grade championship season, they were anxious to get back on the court. The Knights started strong, finishing an excellent first quarter with contributions from the whole team to put them up 16-3. The Knights then closed out the half with a 36-11 lead, with contributions from Aiden Sausen, Noam Kinderlehrer and Eytan Suss, who led the team with eight points. Coming out of halftime the Knights maintained the momentum with outstanding rebounding by Avery Stepner and tremendous defensive efforts by Noam Kinderlehrer and Jeremy Weiss, each with four steals. Moriah came on strong at the end of the game but it was too late as the Knights hung on to win 56-29.
