Odem Mountain Becomes First Israeli Winery Invited to Great Wines World NY Event

(Courtesy of Odem Mountain) Odem Mountain Winery, located in Israel’s northern Golan Heights, has made history as the first Israeli winery ever invited to participate in James Suckling’s Great Wines World New York, one of the wine industry’s most prestigious global tasting events. The event will take place June 11–12, at the iconic Glasshouse venue on Manhattan’s West Side.

Hosted by renowned wine critic James Suckling, Great Wines World will feature a curated selection of top-tier wines from around the globe, each rated 92 points or higher by the jamessuckling.com editorial team. The event will offer a walk-around tasting experience, drawing wine professionals, connoisseurs and enthusiasts from across the industry.

Represented in the U.S. by Royal Wine Corp., the leading producer, importer and exporter of kosher wines, Odem Mountain Winery is celebrated for crafting exceptional wines that reflect the unique terroir of its region. At the New York event, Odem Mountain will present two standout labels:

Odem Mountain Special Edition Alfasi, the winery’s flagship wine

Odem Mountain Reserve Nebbiolo

Founded in 2003, Odem Mountain released its first kosher vintage in 2007. The family-run winery is nestled within a lush forest and is operated by the Alfasi family. Winemaker Adam Alfasi will personally attend the New York tasting to introduce his family’s wines to the international audience.

James Suckling’s Great Wines World events are held annually across the U.S. and Asia, attracting over 20,000 attendees each year. Known for their high energy and festive atmosphere, often compared to a “rock concert of wine,” these events provide a rare opportunity to meet and mingle with the world’s leading winemakers.
