Mark K. worked with co-owner Tova Friedman to make chairs for his dining room. “Tova insisted we come to the showroom and we really like her attitude to customer service,” he said. “Everything is built by hand, so Tova allowed us to be creative, to dream a little bit. She steered us to the chairs that would enhance our dining room and allowed us to lay down fabrics and colors on chairs to show us how they would look. Our goal was to make our Shabbos and Yom Tov dining and sitting experience a special one … and they have done so.”
With Shabbat every week, and Yom Tov throughout the year, dining rooms play a large role in Jewish homes. Yaffa T. said she looked at several furniture stores but couldn’t find a dining room table that would accommodate as much seating as she needed for family and guests. They had tons of fabric choices, but since they make the chairs you can also supply your own fabric. Our table seats 12 comfortably and we could also squeeze in a few more if necessary. We relied on the recommendations of Parlor and our decorator, and we’re very happy.”
