Dreading the yearly monotonous pre-Passover cooking sessions? Get ready to reinvigorate your recipe book when acclaimed chef and author of cooking blog “Cooking for My People,” Sylvia Fallas, comes to town. On Sunday, March 18, at 7:30 p.m., Fallas will lead an interactive cooking demonstration at the Chabad Jewish Learning Center of Springfield. On display will be her famous stress-reducing recipes for delicious Passover staples, as well as numerous tips and tricks for avoiding common cooking snafus.

Drawing on her years of experience as a cooking instructor and recipe developer, Fallas teaches interactive cooking classes and demos while focusing on healthy and simple food. Her blog, which has attracted significant followings and media attention, focuses on removing the hassle and worry from preparing delicious meals and serving guests.
