Dear Shayna B.,
I am having an issue with my little brother. We both play the piano. The problem is I am much better than he is. I think this makes him feel bad. We both enjoy playing the piano. How can we continue playing the piano without having him feel bad?
Piano Playing Penina
Dear Piano Playing Penina,
The bagpipes are a suggestion. Why don’t you just give him compliments to make him feel better? Maybe your brother feels different than you do. I think that it’s nice that you both play the same instrument. I play the same instrument as my brother and my sister. I don’t really think this really matters because he will catch up. And even if he doesn’t, some people are better and some things than others, and that’s okay, too. If he minded that much, I’m sure he would have emailed me instead of you.
Best of luck,
Shayna B.
