Planting Is Fun at Leah Sokoloff Nursery School

The children of The Leah Sokoloff Nursery School of Shomrei Torah in Fair Lawn are learning about seeds and sequencing in conjunction with Tu B’Shevat. The children planted grass seeds and lima beans to watch them grow and used branches to paint beautiful depictions of trees. They learned that we need trees for shade and fruit. They love climbing trees too! The infant-toddler class made beautiful almond trees with pink dot painting for the buds. All of the children learned and sang the song about the shkadia trees in Eretz Yisrael.
