Alan Dershowitz, a 1955 graduate of Yeshiva University High School, and Yeshiva University’s Rabbi Dr. Meir Soloveichik will discuss “Anti-Zionism in the Academy: Israel and the Future of American Education” on Tuesday, April 25, at 7 p.m. in the Lamport Auditorium at Yeshiva University’s Wilf Campus in Washington Heights.
The event, which is open to the public, is part of the Marsha Stern Talmudical Academy/Yeshiva University High School for Boys (YUHSB) Centennial Lecture Series and is co-sponsored by the Zahava and Moshael Straus Center for Torah and Western Thought, for which Rabbi Dr. Meir Soloveichik serves as the director.
“The Centennial Lecture Series shines a light on YU High School’s proud history of providing the very best in Jewish education by exposing the wider YUHSB community—alumni, parents, grandparents, faculty, students and friends—to a small selection of our impressive alumni,” said Rabbi Josh Kahn, YUHSB head of school.
Space for this event is limited and advanced registration is recommended. To RSVP, please visit centennial.yuhsb.org/events. For sponsorship opportunities, please contact Elissa Schertz at [email protected].
