Last week, Rabbi Proops visited each IEBECC class on Friday morning to read them a story. Every week, Rabbi Proops visits each class as part of their pre-Shabbat activities. The children look forward to this time with the rabbi as they get to explore the shul, see the sifrei Torah, ask questions and learn about Shabbat and the shul. This connection is strengthened when they come to Suburban Torah on Shabbat and know this is their home, too.
