(Courtesy of Keter Torah) In celebration of Israel’s 74th Independence Day, Keter Torah, 600 Roemer Avenue, Teaneck, is proud to host Rabbi Yosef Zvi Rimon for a shiur and breakfast on Sunday, May 1, at 9:00 a.m.
Rabbi Rimon will speak on “The Halachic Ramifications of the IDF after 2,000 Years in Exile.”
The talk will include moral and halachic questions asked by soldiers during times of conflict and Rabbi Rimon’s answers.
This event is dedicated to Ta’asuchayil, a La’Ofek program for Israel’s needy and lone soldiers. A Ta’asuchayil soldier will share his personal journey to a better future.
Rabbi Yosef Zvi Rimon is chief rabbi of Gush Etzion, rosh yeshiva of Lev Academic Center, founder and chairman of Sulamot and La’Ofek and an internationally acclaimed posek, educator, author and lecturer.
