(Courtesy of Ramaz) Over 1,000 parents, students, grandparents, alumni, parents of alumni, faculty, and staff joined the 88th Ramaz Annual Dinner to unite as a community and celebrate past, present and future Jewish leaders. The community honored Jonathan Cannon for his leadership in Jewish education; Sherri Libin for her leadership in chesed; and David Gold for his leadership in civics; and recognized alumni Sam Fried (’15) and Rebecca Massel (’15) for their commitment to Israel and stand against antisemitism. The celebration was accompanied by a smorgasbord of delicious food, with each food table themed to celebrate historic Jewish leaders like Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks.

The ceremony featured moving speeches, from the presentations for each honoree to a speech by Mayor Eric Adams. It also featured stellar performances by the lower, middle and upper school choirs; upper school band; and guitar, percussion and dance ensembles. An enormous hakarat hatov to all of the guests and donors for making the dinner a tremendous success and for their generous contributions to the Ramaz Annual Campaign.
