Real Estate Has Sprung: Your Ideal Buying & Selling Experience

What a brutal winter it has been; record low temperatures, frozen pipes, and too many snow days to count. With spring a month away and more inventory coming to the market, we can finally see the end of this winter. While it is always the right time to buy a home, this winter has been very harsh, and buyers and sellers alike didn’t want to deal with walking through homes in snow boots and snow cancellations. If you are ready to buy a property this spring or summer, the next few weeks would be a great time to be in touch with your Realtor to schedule showings, without snow cancellations and interruptions.

As an experienced home buyer turned REALTOR, I have learned different pointers of what buyers expect from their agents. I believe it is important to be comfortable with the agent you are working with and realize how valuable they can be in helping you find the best deal and home fit for you.

Don’t Push: Don’t attempt to force on a home based on what it looks like. Agents are more knowledgeable in the sense of price and value and are a great resource in that regard. However, it is important for an agent to remember that the buyer knows best when it comes to what they truly need for their family.

What Works for the Seller: It is important to show clients everything in their price range in the area they are interested in. Everyone has different tastes when it comes to colors and layout.

Being Honest: Buyers who are really motivated help along with the search process online, and it is important for agents to be honest with their clients regarding homes and their value.

As an experienced listing agent, I understand that there are many different reasons to sell your home and a lot of mixed emotions that go along with them. Is the market strong and you want to get a good lump of cash? Do you need a bigger home for your family? Do you need to downsize? Are you relocating? Working with the right agent to sell your home can ensure a seamless transaction.

Price: Although you may have lived in your home a lifetime, at this stage you are looking to sell. As your Realtor, I will give you a fair market analysis on what your house can sell for in the current market.

Attention: I am here to schedule appointments, get clients through your door, and get your house sold. Ask any and all questions along the way; that is what I am here for.

Sincerity: Honesty is the best policy. As your agent I will be honest with you about the value of your home, the progress of the sale process, and give you clients’ feedback.

Follow up: Once we go under contract, I will help you with the step by step directions of what to expect next.

Whether you are buying your first or third home, selling your home, or have any other real estate needs and questions please contact us for help. I work with a great team at Links Residential and we are always looking for ways to help our clients obtain successful results. We look forward to working with you.
