On Sunday, October 31, at 2 p.mTeaneck’s Congregation Rinat Yisrael’s Social Action Committee hosted a Snack Pack Event to benefit the Center for Food Action in Englewood. Volunteers assembled healthy weekend snack packs for local children who depend on school lunches and are left without adequate nutrition on weekends and holiday breaks. With many local families devastated by storm Ida, the snack packs are more important than ever.
