Teaneck–On Sunday, November 9th, 2014 at 8PM, the Adult Education Program of Congregation Rinat Yisrael will present a panel discussion on “A Woman’s Experience Saying Kaddish.” Rabbi Yosef Adler will speak on Halachic perspectives regarding women saying Kaddish. Barbara Ashkenas and Michal Smart, editors of “Kaddish: Women’s Voices” comprising essays from 52 authors who reflect on coping with the loss of family members, will speak about their experiences collecting the essays, and psychologist Shera Dubitsky will address mourning our losses in between saying kaddish–at other times in our lives. This will prove a moving and uplifting event for anyone who has ever experienced a personal loss.
