The 10th grade art students had the task of designing and painting the school banner for the Celebrate Israel Parade on June 2. They each planned three different ideas to scale for homework. Then they chose their best one and rendered it in color. These ideas were presented to school administration and administrators and classmates voted on the best idea. The winners Orli Hirsch and Hallel Shoval became art directors for the assignment. The directors sketched out the banner and gave tasks to the rest of the class, which painted the banner. RKYHS is grateful to the dedication of the art students in ensuring the school looks beautiful as they proudly marched up 5th Avenue.
