As part of the RKYHS SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) commitee’s awareness campaign aimed at furthering driving safety, RKYHS students BB Brickman and Sara-Shifra Stone read a story to a kindergarten class entitled “Do Kangaroos Wear Seatbelts?” The students felt strongly that the awareness needs to start at a young age. RKYHS was chosen as one of only 50 schools to be named “Champion School” for the UGotbrains.com contest.
