The RKYHS Homeless Awareness Committee recently headed out to the streets of Newark for their first visit of the year. The group visited the Second Home Shelter where they sorted and handed out food, clothes and hygiene kits to those experiencing homeless. Throughout the year the RKYHS Homeless Awareness Committee collects much needed clothing and supplies that they distribute to those experiencing homelessness. The committee also holds educational programs and fundraisers.
