The RKYHS junior class had the opportunity to experience high energy physics on a trip to The Physics Show. After spending months learning about momentum, velocity, force and electricity, students were able to watch the fascinating world of physics come to life in an off-Broadway theatrical production. Exploding balloons, soda cans crushed by ping pong balls, and singing wine glasses all demonstrated the power and beauty of physics. The show enhanced the students’ understanding of the scientific principles and certainly contributed meaningfully to their appreciation of God’s wondrous world.
