The RKYHS Sports Management Club explored “The World’s Most Famous Arena”—Madison Square Garden. The visit included an exclusive first-hand look at VIP areas in this state-of-the-art arena such as the Knicks and Rangers locker rooms. Other highlights on the RKYHS group’s tour were memorabilia of over 130 years of legendary MSG history. The tour culminated with the chance to learn from staff at Madison Square Garden. The students met with a member of their corporate production team. The speaker discussed her background and held an informative question and answer session. All of the students agreed that this was an experience they will always remember and that they will use this up-close look into a large-scale professional arena as a springboard to gain a greater knowledge of the sports management world.
