The JKHA/RKYHS school community joins together in mourning Omer Neutra z”l and feels a shared pain over his death. A group of RKYHS students represented the school as they traveled to Long Island to offer comfort to the family during their week of shiva. Omer’s parents spoke to the students about their son and the incredible courage that their son displayed, as well as the urgency to bring the remaining hostages home, leaving no one behind.

Following the shiva, an IDF soldier from the Eitan unit spoke to the students about being assigned to care for the Neutra family, overseeing their emotional and physical needs.
