Congratulations to the RKYHS and Sinai at RKYHS student team who placed as semi-finalists in the CIJE-Tech Hackathon at Yeshiva University. This was an incredible accomplishment where the team, in four hours, developed a solution to extreme precipitation due to climate change. The project collects precipitation and uses it to generate clean energy, using a WiFi module to display a website with a graph displaying the energy creation.

The student team is made up of participants in the RKYHS four year STEM sequence of courses.
