RPRY Marks 100th Day of School

This past Monday was the 100th day of the RPRY school year!

Kindergarten students celebrated finishing learning all about brachot and the 100th day with a brachot party. In a delicious celebration, each child enjoyed a “snack square” on their placemat. Having learned how to count by 10s, each child placed 10 pieces of 10 foods on their mat in a celebratory 100th-day treat.

At the beginning of the day, “Devious Agent 99” sent a message to the first graders stating that he had captured “Zero the Hero.” Students had to complete six 100-themed missions to rescue their hero. With secret agent badges and case files, they diligently collected clues and found Zero in the playground. He thanked the students for finding him and left them with a delicious prize.

Second and third-graders used the 100th day of school to learn about probability. They flipped a coin 100 times and tracked how many times it landed on heads or tails. In addition, second graders also enjoyed a 100-years-ago scavenger hunt.

The 100th Day was an excellent opportunity for learning and fun—just like every day at RPRY.
