The fourth and fifth grade boys at RPRY have the opportunity to participate daily with Rabbi Feit in the widely acclaimed Shomrei Halashon Program sponsored by the Chofetz Chaim Heritage Foundation. The program is a fun way to learn the laws of lashon hara and is in line with the upper elementary school vision focused on Social Emotional Learning. The program includes daily lessons, stories, Shabbos table take-homes, a daily positive speech commitment, and monthly prizes and raffles. This month, the class was selected as one of the classes eligible for a “pretzel maker” raffle from a few schools around the country. Mazel tov to the lucky winner! In truth, all students are winners as they are walking home with lessons that last a lifetime.
