RPRY eighth grade girls, always looking for an opportunity to help, had the opportunity last week to set up “The Empty Shabbat Table” project that had taken place in Highland Park last Shabbat. The Empty Shabbat Table was set for the 242 hostages taken in the Oct. 7 Hamas terrorist attacks as a demonstration to the community and the world of the gravity of the attack and their continued imprisonment. Students got right to work from carrying chairs, taping tablecloths and setting the table (including bottles and highchairs for the children). Everyone was  proud of the students’ continued efforts to help in any way possible during this time of crisis and are confident that all of the activities they are taking part in will have a profound effect on their development as devoted and dedicated members of Klal Yisrael.
