RPRY’s seventh and eighth grade girls had the opportunity to visit the Museum of the American Revolution and Independence Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The students were excited to see the artifacts and primary documents from Revolutionary War times. They were also excited to see Independence Hall where the Declaration of Independence and Constitution were discussed and created. The students learn about the creation of the United States government after the Revolutionary War as well as units in civics and current events, so these opportunities allowed the students to see where the history they are learning about happened! The seventh and eighth grade boys look forward to going on the same trip at the end of December.
