RTMA Middle School Astounds With Breadth of Torah Knowledge

RTMA middle school students were given an interactive opportunity to showcase their knowledge in Chumash, Rashi, Navi, Gemara and Jewish history recently as the division held its annual Yediot Klaliot competition for sixth through eighth grade boys. The game, administered by RTMA Middle School Associate Principal Rabbi Sharir Yablonsky, featured a Jeopardy-style screen and buzz-in system where student contestants selected categories of questions and then responded via hi-tech buzzers. Students in the eighth grade were responsible for setting up the technical end of the game as well as for selecting contestants and score-keeping. While the eighth grade dominated the majority of the time, the younger students demonstrated an impressive breadth of knowledge as well that kept the game competitive and fun.
