Undeterred by the rain, over 200 children and their families came together on the first day of Chol Hamoed for the PTA’s annual Sukkot carnival. Our amazing RYNJ children enjoyed numerous bounce houses, inflatable mega-slides, and delicious food from Grand & Essex. In preparation for the carnival, Rabbi Kopstick’s eighth grade Halacha shiur reviewed hilchot sukkah and built the perfect sukkah for this event. This brand-new sukkah was made available so that families could eat and celebrate together, albeit in-between the raindrops.
