RYNJ Celebrates Tu B’Shevat With Song and Dance

The students in grades 1G-5G celebrated Tu B’Shevat with song and dance. Flowers, ice cream clips, neon scarves and tutus enhanced the show. With presentations connected to trees, Eretz Yisrael, brachos, and everything that grows, each performance incorporated the lessons the students have been learning about Tu B’Shevat. The third grade’s glow-in-the dark Israeli dance was a huge hit. The fourth grade presented flowers to the Morot, since they are the “gardeners” and the students are the “flowers.” They also sang a song of gratitude to the Morot. Thank you to our Girls Music Director, Morah Sorah Shaffren, for directing the performances, and to Mordechai Shapiro and Yehudah Pinsker for helping produce the music for this fabulous event.
