Every year the RYNJ family looks forward to an amazing Chanukah Concert organized by the PTA of RYNJ. This year was no exception, of course the PTA was going to bring the same excitement, even if it was on Zoom! The concert featured the amazing Dovid Pearlman who sang a variety of songs, from classics like “Light Up the Nights” to an awesome remix of his song “Chaver Sheli.” Rabbi Price, RYNJ head of school, kicked off the concert with a beautiful dvar Torah and Rabbi Bernstein, boys middle school principal, emceed the event. During the intermission, hundreds of students participated in a scavenger hunt searching for items related to Chanukah found in their home. Students and their treasures were spotlighted on the main screen! The concert was high energy, beautifully performed and most importantly, it was a night filled with unity. Everyone loved seeing their friends and teachers on the screen and spending such a special Chanukah evening together!
