On Wednesday evening, the תלמידות of 6G capped off their Orah V’Simchah bat mitzvah program with a beautiful Mother/Daughter banquet. The evening was filled with meaningful programming, and included a delicious buffet dinner. First, the industrious girls packaged and decorated beautiful care packages with the new infant clothing that they had collected in their Yad Leah clothing drive. During the meal, Rabbi Price and parent representative Dr. Shlomit Lamm shared inspiring words of Torah and meaningful messages to the mothers and daughters. A highlight of the evening was the exhibit of the girls writing pieces, each about an inspiring female role model in their family. Additionally, each mother was delighted with original אשת חייל artwork, created by their daughters. Next, the talented תלמידות dazzled the room with their originally choreographed dances, and the evening ended with the personalized siddur gift exchange. Mazal Tov to the budding בנות מצוה!
