Each month, the RYNJ middle school boys enjoy a Kiddush Levana breakfast along with a special program that highlights a particular theme. This month, the boys focused on the concept of hashgacha pratit, and how it exists in every part of our lives. In order to demonstrate how hashgacha is ever present, the boys created and performed plays of their own. Each rebbe and class adopted a story of hashgacha pratit, developed a script, practiced their lines and prepared their props. For the first round of the skit competition, the classes in each grade competed against one another for the best representation of the story. On Monday, after enjoying a delicious Kiddush Levana breakfast, the middle school boys joined in the shul for the three finalists. Incorporating humor and creativity, the boys performed before an excited and supportive crowd. The performances were entertaining, and each one demonstrated just how powerful the Yad Hashem is in every aspect of life. After all three skits were performed, there was no question that whichever class won was certainly hashgacha.
