The RYNJ guidance staff has been finely attuned to the case of CW and are speaking to the children when needed. RYNJ wanted to broaden its approach and do more to partner with parents.

Before winter break, RYNJ purchased copies of “Let’s Stay Safe” for every single RYNJ family. This book was written by renowned author and speaker Rabbi Yakov Horowitz, one of the foremost leaders in combating abuse in the Jewish community, and was originally sponsored by the Karasick family. The goal of the book is to give children essential life lessons in safe and unsafe behavior in all aspects of life.

RYNJ gave a copy of this book to each RYNJ family at no charge, with special thanks to the Karasick family for enabling the project.

In life, there is chinuch in the classrooms and chinuch in the homes. RYNJ wants nothing more than to keep its children safe both in and out of school.
