The children of RYNJ were very busy during the weeks leading up to Thanksgiving. RYNJ teachers focused on hakarat hatov and all students learned the importance of feeling thankful. Students expressed their gratitude through various writing assignments and projects that they created for Thanksgiving! They made hats, necklaces, placemats, turkeys and more! A highlight of the week was presenting the security and maintenance staff with lawn signs expressing appreciation. Each lawn sign was signed by students.
