RYNJ fourth and fifth graders had a blast in STEAM creating hats to display a bit about themselves. Each student enjoyed thinking about what they could share with their teacher and with each other, and used an array of colorful paper, tape, pipe cleaners, feathers, crafting paper and material scraps to bring their creations to life. They used trial and error to measure and shape their hats, and helped each other out when needed. It was a fun, expressive, informative and colorful afternoon!
