RYNJ first through third graders were treated to a lively presentation from author/illustrator Mike Ciccotello, creator of Beach Toys vs. School Supplies and Twins. Mr. Mike read his books and then gave RYNJ students a step by step art tutorial for drawing his popular school supplies and beach toys drawings. As he demonstrated on his easel, the students were following his instructions on their drawing paper. By the end of the presentation, the students each had two drawings they had created.
