RYNJ 6th grade students enjoyed a thrilling trip to Camp Vacamus where they spent the day absorbed in exciting and engaging team building activities. The students were faced with many challenges that could only be accomplished through teamwork, planning and communication. With each challenge the students faced, they initially tried to achieve the goal as individuals. After several failed attempts, they quickly realized just how valuable teamwork is, and together, they successfully overcame each of the challenges. As one Camp Vacamus group leader expressed, “We have adults coming up here, but you guys solved that challenge faster than anyone.” RYNJ is so proud of the students’ with their stellar behavior and participation. The friendly competition and exhilarating experience will surely serve as a springboard for stronger teamwork throughout the year.
