For Purim the Young Israel of East Brunswick held a tri-synagogue Zoom magic show with over 100 families/screens joined from the Young Israel of East Brunswick, East Brunswick Jewish Center, and Temple B’nai Shalom. The three congregations have held a Purim carnival together for many years pre-COVID.

Meanwhile, in Highland Park, Congregation Ahavas Achim’s youth directors held an outdoor, face-masked and costumed “PURIMPALOOZA” event for families, featuring a stilt walker, juggler, cotton candy machine, carnival games and a magic show. Dozens of families attended, including one with a dog just desperate to make a delivery.
