Seeking Teens to Participate in J-SERVE

The time has come to register teens (age 12-18) for J-SERVE, the annual day of Jewish teen service! For the MetroWest region, J-SERVE will take place on Sunday, April 2, from 11:15 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Whippany. The day will begin with a service expo, food drive and optional seminars, followed by teen-led service groups in which participants will be able to engage in Jewish learning before participating in one of 14 hands-on service projects. The event will close with a reflection “mix-up,” along with speakers to help inspire teens to become more actively engaged in Jewish service learning. Lunch will be served.

J-SERVE for this region is non-denominational and open to the entire Greater MetroWest community. It is a co-sponsorship between the Jewish Federation of GMW, JTEEN-GMW, BBYO, Good Deed’s Day, DILLER, TASC, USY, NFTY, Yallah and numerous other youth groups, day schools and synagogues that have previously assigned ambassadors to the planning committee.
