The children at Shalom Yeladim have been getting ready for Chanukah while also continuing to learn about fall. The toddlers made corn art projects and tasted corn. The 2s class opened the pumpkin they have had in their room since last week to see what was inside. The children scooped the pumpkin pulp and seeds onto trays and counted them in groups of 10. The pre-k class used dreidels covered in paint to make a fun art project. They also used candles to do an art project. All the classes have been reading Chanukah books and learning Chanukah songs in preparation for the upcoming chagiga.
