In a fantastic celebration of school spirit, JEC Lower and Middle Schools gathered on Sunday, February 3, for a Simcha Leiner concert. The concert featured a great mix of songs, from upbeat contemporary tunes to mellow melodies to songs from decades past. Leiner’s amazing singing talent, along with his warm interactions with the crowd, made for a powerful experience that moved the audience.

The story behind this concert began when Leiner first started developing his most recent hit, “Stand Up for Each Other.” He reached out to Rabbi Uzi Beer, principal of JEC Lower and Middle Schools, and shared his vision of a chorus of unity—over 1000 Jewish boys from schools across North America—all singing a message of supporting each other in the face of bullying. Rabbi Beer immediately agreed to join this inspired initiative, and as Leiner says, this “kickstarted the movement!” The JEC is proud to be a part of this video, and the boys were thrilled to perform live on stage alongside Leiner at this unique concert.
