Students at the Irving Montak SINAI School at SAR Academy utilized all of their senses during their first visit this year to Gan Ilan, the school’s rooftop garden run in partnership with “farmer” Yosef Gillers of Grow Torah, an organization that develops educational Torah garden programs. They enjoyed picking carrots and tasting and smelling a variety of plants and herbs while learning about their interactions with each other and the environment.
