Yeshivat Noam commends the entire group of students who prepared this year for the Chidon HaTanach by studying the Books of Daniel, Iyov and Ruth. Despite the challenges of limited in person preparation and more independent learning, the students, known as the ChidoKnights, persevered with diligence and determination. Congratulations to the six students who placed in the Chidon National Finals, which took place on Zoom on Sunday. The finalists are as pictured: Ariella Goldgewert, Tzipora Gordon, Naomi Ruttenberg and Yonatan Halstuch and Micky Cyrulnik. In the eighth grade division, Gabe Cohen placed fifth overall in a highly competitive race. In the sixth-seventh grade division, Micky Cyrulnik placed first overall! Under the new rules, sixth and seventh graders aren’t eligible for a trip to Israel to compete in the international finals; however Yeshivat Noam looks forward to Micky’s continued learning so that he is ready to compete and excel for years to come!
