Steinreich Appoints Former Director of Israeli Government Press Office as Head of Israel Operations

Fort Lee—Steinreich Communications, an international public relations firm based in New Jersey, recently appointed Daniel Seaman as its managing director of its Israel office. Seaman brings more than 30 years of communications experience to the firm. He will spearhead a team working with clients in travel and tourism, healthcare, education, technology, government and non-governmental organizations (NGOs).

Prior to joining Steinreich Communications, Seaman served as the director of the Israeli Government Press Office for a decade under six prime ministers. He also served as the deputy director general of the Diaspora Affairs Ministry, was a spokesman for the Israel Defense forces (IDF) and served in the Foreign Ministry as an attaché in New York.

“Danny’s background of creating and implementing strategic communications programs for the government and his close relationships with literally hundreds of journalists around the world and in Israel with whom he has worked is a real asset for our clients and staff. He has a broad range of skills and experiences very important for the work we do promoting the good work of our clients every day to the rest of the world,” said Steinreich Communications President & CEO Stan Steinreich.

After serving his compulsory military service in an elite paratrooper unit, Seaman earned his bachelor’s degree in political science at the City University of New York’s Hunter College while serving at the Consulate of Israel in New York. Seaman lives in Jerusalem with his wife and four children.

For Seaman, the transition was a natural one for someone used to promoting Israel and Jewish causes.

“In my new role, we are working to promote the great work of our clients for the people of Israel and beyond. Yes, I wear a different hat, but the work of promoting Israel to constituencies around the world remains the same,” he said.

Founded in 2003, Steinreich Communications represents some of the world’s leading corporations and consumer brands. It is one of the nation’s fastest growing, full-service public relations firms with offices in New York, New Jersey, Washington, Los Angeles, London, Frankfurt and Tel Aviv. Visit www.scompr.com.
