Suburban Torah Members Stay Connected

On a recent Sunday morning, 30 families from Suburban Torah in Livingston, participated in a scavenger hunt around town. Using clues that were texted to each team, the families raced around town snapping and emailing photos of the places referred to in the clues. In the end it was a tie, as the Sherris and the Wasserman-Singer families both won the scavenger hunt. The scavenger hunt was one of the many activities the shul has undertaken since the mid-March stay-at-home orders were issued. Other efforts included a pre-Pesach snack delivery to every family in the synagogue and a weekly virtual Kabbalat Shabbat, which begins with a dvar Torah and Tehillim, before candlelighting.
