This past week, juniors in Cary Riker’s 11AP English Language and Composition class engaged in speed debating as they hosted eighth grade visitors from Yeshivat Noam. Students were given prompts from previous AP tests and had to compose a thesis statement, support it with two examples and then debate their positions with each other in under four minutes.
